Footprint Adventures is a specialist tour operator, offering a wide range of adventure holidays for trekkers, walkers, naturalists, wildlife enthusiasts, overland travellers and birders wishing to take advantage of a fully arranged program but not always wanting to be part of a large group. We try hard to stay away from mass tourism destinations and visit the more remote destinations that we ourselves love so much.

We operate a 'fair price' policy so you will always get excellent value for money. At the same time you can be assured that our suppliers receive realistic and fair prices for the services they provide.

Footprint Adventures are full members of the Travel Trust Association with a membership number of R704x. The Travel Trust Association exists in order to protect you, the customer, with 100 percent financial protection and has been doing so for over fifteen years. This means that every penny that you pay to a member is protected by the Travel Trust Association. It means that you can book your holiday secure in the knowledge that Travel Trust Association will protect you in the unlikely event of a member becoming insolvent. Should a member of the Travel Trust Association for any reason financially fail or cease trading, the Travel Trust Association will liaise with the suppliers and Tour Operators to ensure that your holiday goes ahead unaffected.

You will find our tours are not only very competitive but also of a high standard. Please be aware that standards differ greatly in different parts of the world, especially so in the more remote areas. This unique combination has been made possible, by our detailed knowledge of the destinations and highly experienced ground operators.

Our Wildlife Tours are designed to give you the best chances of seeing some of the large wildlife. We make extensive use of the many National Parks and Wildlife Reserves. Most of these parks offer some visitor facilities, but the standards vary greatly. Many of these Wildlife Reserves are long established, consequently some of the wildlife have become quite accustomed to visitors. But as with all wildlife observation, it is important that visitors are very quiet and wear dull clothing.
